Hollywood icon Kevin Costner made a dramatic entrance at the 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic Pro-Am, arriving by helicopter at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club. “It’s like hitting the beach in a war,” Costner joked, “the only thing is everybody is very friendly.”
The star-studded event drew celebrities like Bill Murray, Kurt Russell, Vanna White, David Arquette, Rob Riggle, and Jennie Garth. While Murray didn’t play a full round, his surprise appearance thrilled fans along the course.
One of the day’s highlights came when Myrtle Beach native Patrick Marino scored a hole-in-one on the 12th hole—while playing alongside Costner. Marino laughed, telling the actor, “Kev, you don’t need to hit, just pick it up.”
The Pro-Am marks the kickoff of the Myrtle Beach Classic, which continues through the weekend with concerts and professional competition, offering fans a mix of sports and star power in one unforgettable event.
