Actor and filmmaker Kevin Costner has scored a partial legal victory in the ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit filed by a former stuntwoman. A judge dismissed several of the claims brought against Costner, narrowing the scope of the case but allowing some allegations to proceed.
The stuntwoman, who worked on one of Costner’s projects, accused the actor of inappropriate behavior on set. Costner has consistently denied all allegations, calling them “false and damaging.”
While the ruling does not end the lawsuit entirely, it represents a significant step in Costner’s favor as the case continues. Further court proceedings are expected in the coming months.
